Maxwell's latest installation is a work entitled 'Breathe'.

It consists of two 'lightpods' connected to a specially made and programmed dimming thyristor.

Each pod contains two dozen incandescent striplights suspended from a frame by their electric cables.

In turn, each lightpod slowly becomes brighter at the other lightpods expense. The current slowly travels back and forth from the pods.

Simultaneously a radio signal placed near the pods picks up intererence from the current, and in response produces a deep hum, changing in frequency.
